In the Oscar-winning Around the World in 80 Days, David Niven stars as Phileas Fogg who bets his fellow club members that he can circle the globe in 80 days.

That may not be impressive today, but in 1872 it was nearly impossible.

Accompanied by his valet, Passeprout (Cantinflas), and the wandering Princess Aouda (Shirley MacLaine), Fogg crosses Europe, India, Japan, the Pacific and the United States in a race against time and all the odds.

The all-star cast features Noel Coward, John Gielgud, Trevor Howard, Shirley MacLaine, Peter Lorre, Marlene Dietrich, Frank Sinatra, Buster Keaton, John Mills and a cast of thousands.
